Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12s)
• Provide care for diverse ICU patient populations including OB, CICU, SICU, MICU, and PICU patients
• Maintain 1:3 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• 2 years of ICU experience required, charge experience preferred
• Current New Mexico or Multi-State nursing licensure required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS preferred
• 18 hours of orientation provided
• Block scheduling format
• Weekend shifts as needed, expect to work some holidays
• Must arrive within 30 minutes if placed on-call
• Floating may be required in rotation with facility staff
• Smoke/nicotine-free campus policy
• Keep time off requests to minimum, must be approved in initial submission
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator care, central line management, vasoactive drip titration, blood product administration, and various critical care procedures
• Experience with Meditech charting system preferred
• Travelers within 70 miles of Silver City considered local and not accepted

The facility provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy services.
