Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12's or 40 hours for 8/10's
• Float to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles) as needed
• 2 years experience in PCU minimum, also needing ICU experience required
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic experience MUST be a 3 or 4; familiarity with cardiac drips required
• Must be nicotine free - no exceptions with negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Smoke free facility
• White scrubs required
• Time sensitive modules need to be prioritized first once confirmed for assignment (6-15 hours, non-billable)
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum for each
• All RTO must be included at time of submission only
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, ABG interpretation
• Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols
