Opportunity:

RN - IR

Job Details:

• Work standard procedure hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility for earlier or later procedures
• Call duties divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend
• Weekend call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning
• Must respond to facility within 30 minutes when called
• Float between IR and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed to assist with patient care
• Must be competent to perform conscious sedation and monitor all procedures
• Record all procedures performed in the IR department
• 2 years of experience in specialty required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA)
• Must maintain Louisiana or Compact license in hand upon submittal
• NURSYS reports required and must be up to date within 4 weeks of submission
• Emergency team assignment possible during events with expectation to remain at facility
• Must be over 65 miles from facility address (no local travelers accepted)
• Orientation held 5 days per week with billable modules included
