Opportunity:
RN - ICU Neuro
Job Details:
• Work in Neuro Critical Care unit with float capability to Medical Critical Care
• Patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period (night shift being Friday/Saturday)
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holiday blocks: Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
• 2 years of critical care experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• MUST have Cerner charting system experience - no exceptions
• Required certifications: ACLS, Stroke, BLS
• No on-call responsibilities
• Unit-based position with potential to float based on facility needs
• Block scheduling accommodations available
• Non-billable orientation modules averaging 2-4 hours (5 hours maximum)
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• License must be in hand with submission - pending licenses not accepted
• Local candidates within 25-mile radius not accepted

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
