Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend with possibility of consecutive weekends based on operational needs
• Required to float between different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided
• Staffing ratios: PCU assignments 1:4, Med-Surg assignments 1:5-6
• Mixed assignments of 4-5 patients may include both Med-Surg and PCU patients
• Charge nurse responsibilities may be required with training and resources provided
• Must agree to possibility of precepting and/or having students shadow during assignment
• Call-in policy requires makeup shifts during pay period or added to end of contract
• Required certifications: ACLS and BCLS
• Minimum 2 years experience required; will consider Med-Surg RN with ICU and PCU experience plus additional 2 years
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 100% floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals
• Care for ventilated patients, tracheostomies, and stable trach-to-ventilator patients
• Manage high acuity patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions
