Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts Monday through Friday, typically 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• On-call rotation required approximately 8 days per month including 1 weekend per month with 30-minute response time
• Every third weekend required (5-6 total weekends in contract)
• Floating required to sister facility 2 miles away for 1 week
• Average daily census of 7-10 patients
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required licensure: ARRT, WV State License (may submit with pending but must be active prior to start)
• Required certifications: BLS (Vascular Intervention Certification preferred)
• Blue surgical scrubs issued by hospital
• Work in interventional vascular radiology suite performing peripheral angiography/venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-intervention including acute stroke, and embolization
• Responsibilities include accurate monitoring, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, access site preparation, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulation, scrub and maintain sterile field, and vascular closure systems
• Equipment operation includes PACS, fluoroscopy (Siemens and ultrasound preferred), maintains equipment and inventory, stocks supplies
• Must maintain sterile technique and infection control protocols
• Charting system: Cerner
• Free parking provided for travelers
• Orientations occur every other Monday

This facility is a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 total staffed beds.
