Opportunity:

RN - IR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays
• On call every 5th weekend with call rotation (discuss details with manager during interview)
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 1:1 patient ratio working with adults and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Interventional Radiology experience required
• First-time travelers accepted if they have Interventional Radiology experience
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be American Heart Association)
• West Virginia or compact nursing license required (pending license acceptable)
• Perform special procedures including angiogram, fistulogram, permacath, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, mechanical thrombectomy, and embolization
• Treat patients with diagnoses including CKD, CAD, PAD, PVD, stenosis, AAA, stroke, and aneurysm
• May float to General Lab CDL as needed
• Royal blue/white scrubs required for RNs
• Charting system: Cerner
• Orientation occurs every other Thursday with first 2 days in classroom setting followed by unit orientation
• Complete non-billable modules prior to start (2-4 hours average)
• Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st) unless medical exemption provided
• Must live greater than 100 miles from facility (75-99 miles considered case-by-case)
• Cannot return as traveler for 2 years after permanent employment ends
