Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call required averaging 12-14 shifts per 6 weeks (avg. 10 days in 6 weeks)
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Required to float to JMH when needed
• Work with adult patients in a 3 Cath Lab facility with 8 holding beds
• Daily census of 10 patients with approximately 10 visits per day
• 5 years of experience required with previous charge experience mandatory
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• Must have experience in both Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings
• Required certifications: RCIS, BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must live 100 miles or more from the facility
• 40 hours of orientation including 4-5 hours of non-billable modules
• Drug test must be completed within 12-14 calendar days prior to start date
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed for CDC fit testing guidelines
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Perform procedures including angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, and various interventional cardiac procedures
