Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 36 or 48 hour shifts with schedule that may change during interview process
• Patient ratios of 1:4/5 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• On-call responsibilities as needed
• Work in 48-bed cardiac stepdown unit with daily census of 32 patients
• Provide continuous bedside and telemetry monitoring for cardiac, pulmonary, and other disease processes
• Care for patients requiring more than standard med/surg but less than intensive care
• Float between like units and campuses within 20 miles when needed (rare occurrence)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Required skills: Telemetry, IV Start
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• 2+ years of nursing experience required (3+ years preferred)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Travel experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• Previous travel assignment completion required
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• Active RN license in state or compact license required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays if all fall during assignment
