Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Minimum of 3 years PCU, ICU, or Step Down experience required
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 9-bed PCU unit with daily census of 9 patients
• Weekend coverage required with minimum of 7 weekend shifts per 13-week contract
• Float required in case of low census
• 24-hour orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off allowed
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: BLS required, ACLS within first year of employment
• Preferred certifications: PNCC
• Arkansas or Compact State RN License required
• ADN required, BSN preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Must be available to complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Care for patients including post-op cardiac surgeries, vascular procedures, CHF exacerbation, COPD exacerbation, and other medical conditions
• Perform special procedures including cardioversions, trache care, central monitoring, and moderate sedation
• Work with specialized equipment including monitors and Zoll defibrillators
• Position designated as safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593
