Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• 36 or 48 hour guaranteed shifts
• Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry monitoring
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on 38-bed unit with average daily census of 33
• Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating to other similar units required
• No call requirements
• Must work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required (also uses Pyxis and SBAR)
• Navy blue scrub color required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 1 year experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Skills include blood product administration, central line management, chest tubes, colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tube management, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and IV management
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Must maintain full compliance to start on time

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
