Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Contracted to ED unit specifically to care for inpatient/CICU Level holds in Emergency Department
• 2 years of experience required with strong PCU background within the last year
• ED experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers accepted with EPIC experience and 2 years experience
• Every other weekend requirement
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, EKG test on arrival
• Patient ratio experience of 4:1
• Must have experience managing and titrating drips including Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labetalol, Dopamine, and Dobutamine
• Care for patients with chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, pneumonia, and overflow medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic patients
• Manage patients post-catheterization with stent, ICD/pacer insertions, and cardioversions
• Work with specialized equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, Alaris pumps, and Phillips monitoring systems
• Epic charting experience preferred
• New Hampshire state license required
• Drug screen must be completed within 14 days of start date
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
