Description
Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• 36 or 48 hour guaranteed shifts
• 2 years minimum experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics
• 1:4 patient ratio in 59-bed emergency department
• Averaging 165-175 patients per day in very large and busy high acuity setting
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Spring Break blackout dates (April 4th-12th)
• Holiday work required based on assignment period
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• Epic charting system experience required (hard stop)
• Navy blue scrubs required
• General Emergency Department (Non-Trauma) setting
• Stroke and STEMI certified facility
• Travel experience required
• Floating requirements are rare
• Full compliance required to start on time with 24 hours orientation
• Must be available to submit documents within 48 hours of contract signing

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
