Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 3 years of nursing experience required, first time travelers accepted
• Weekend call coverage required
• On-call requirement: 1 week at a time rotating with other CVT nurses (currently every 6 weeks)
• Float to other specialties when no CVT cases available
• Work in CVOR, General OR, Hybrid OR, and Trauma settings
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 72 hours of orientation provided
• Work with adult patient population
• 20 rooms and 20 beds in unit
• Required certifications: BLS and Michigan RN license (must be active by start date, compact license not accepted)
• CNOR certification preferred
• EPIC experience preferred with training completed during orientation
• Maximum 5-day RTO policy per contract
• Complete pre-start modules (non-billable, approximately 5 hours)
• AHA certification preferred
• Must provide proof of high school level education
