Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• One to two call days per week required (weekday call starts at 5:00 PM)
• One call weekend every 5 weeks (Saturday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM - 48 hours total)
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
• 2 years of operating room experience required
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• First time travelers accepted
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Hospital-issued scrubs required for OR
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 8 hours of orientation required
• Experience with extensive surgical procedures including robotic surgery, orthopedic procedures, neurosurgery, gynecologic surgery, and trauma cases
• 1:1 patient ratio with approximately 5 visits per day in 9-room operating suite
• Block scheduling requires manager approval based on unit needs
• Must complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment possible June through November
