Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
• Must know how to operate Siemens MRI equipment
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• 3 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT MR, BLS
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must be able to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Handle approximately 40 visits per day with 4 MRI rooms
• Work with wide range of pediatric diagnoses, some adult cardiac scans, and fetal MRIs
• Operate two of four MRI scanners with General Anesthesia starting at 7:30 AM
• Perform functional MRIs and Visualase MRIs
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs as needed
• Work with various MRI procedures including brain, spine, abdomen, extremities, and specialized imaging

The facility features advanced MRI technology with four MRI scanners and operates from 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM daily. The medical center provides specialized services including functional MRIs, cardiac imaging, and fetal MRI procedures, supported by respiratory services and interpretation services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
