Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required for the duration of the contract
• Float required within skillset/acuity
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 years of experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience of 6:1
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, NIHSS
• Charting system experience required (Cerner)
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Two supervisor references required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, chest tube management, CVA care, feeding tube management, heparin protocols, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, PICC line care, wound care, and tracheostomy management
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
