Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week with schedule options of 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Call requirements include 4-5 call shifts per 6-week schedule period with 30-minute callback time
• Weekday call shifts 7:30 PM - 7:00 AM and weekend call shifts 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays with no RTO between Christmas and New Years
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed per contract
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Direct intra-OR circulating and scrub experience preferred
• Experience must support orthopedic (joints, spine, sports injury) and/or general surgery as priority
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting system experience heavily preferred
• Must work in tobacco and fragrance-free environment
• Care for patients across all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
• Handle approximately 30 visits per day in 8-room surgical unit
• Float to surgical center as needed
• Pre-employment modules required (5-6 hours, completed pre-start)
• Manager interview required after clinical screening

The facility provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services.
