Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience required
• Neuro, trauma, ortho and robotics experience required - neuro experience is mandatory
• First time travelers not accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 18-room operating suite with daily census of 50-60 cases
• Must function independently in neurosurgery procedures
• Call requirements: 1-2 calls per week Monday-Thursday with 30-minute callback response time
• Weekend coverage: 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks, call starts at end of Friday shift until 7:00 AM Monday
• Holiday coverage on call basis per department need
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• Skills include craniotomy, laminectomy/discectomy, spinal fusions, VP shunts, trauma cases, and patient positioning
• Must complete 5-6 hours of pre-start modules
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• No license hits accepted
• Manager interview required after clinical screening
