Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in 18-bed ICU with 2:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend required (6 weekend shifts per contract)
• Float to Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Tele, and IMC as needed
• 72 hours of orientation provided
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including COVID, multisystem organ failure, respiratory illnesses, renal failure, sepsis, CVA/seizures, STEMI/NSTEMI, DKA, and electrolyte imbalances
• Work with specialized equipment including IABP, CRRT, targeted temperature management, Swan Ganz, and temporary pacemakers
• Skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
