Opportunity:

RN - ER; Additional Notes from VMS= ED Boarder RN - MS/Tele & Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3x12 schedule (three 12-hour shifts per week)
• Every 3rd weekend required
• One major holiday per contract required
• Float to MS and MS/Tele units as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratios: 4 patients during days/weekends, 5 patients during nights
• MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Two supervisor references required
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Care for patients of all ages: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
• Work with 44 rooms and 52 beds, daily census of 125 patients
• Skills include cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, central line care, chest tubes, vasoactive drip management, wound care, and rapid response team utilization
