Description
Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week schedule
• Weekend coverage required - every 3rd weekend
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Floating required as needed to Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU)
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred
• AHA or ARC certifications only accepted
• Must care for all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Handle approximately 260 visits per day in 77-bed unit
• No call requirements
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)
• Manager interview required
• Clinical screening required to determine fit

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive 74-bed emergency department within a Level I Trauma Center that also serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Accredited Center of Excellence. The emergency department includes a 3-bed trauma bay and secure unit for behavioral health patients. The facility also operates a 22-bed Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU) expansion with full telemetry capability and negative pressure rooms. The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various other specialized services.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
