Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3x12 schedule with every 3rd weekend required
• One major holiday per contract required
• Float to MS and MS/Tele units as needed
• Patient ratios: 4:1 days/weekends, 5:1 nights
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 years of experience required
• MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Utilize skills including blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, heparin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, wound care, and interpretation of arterial blood gases
• Work with Cerner charting system
• Two supervisor references required
• Complete pre-start modules averaging 12 hours

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical and telemetry unit with 52 beds and serves approximately 125 patients daily. The facility provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and specializes in telemetry and cardiac monitoring services.
