Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (shift time determined upon offer)
• One call day per week, every other week, plus 3 additional call days within a 60-day period
• Weekend call occurs every seven to eight weeks (Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM)
• Minimum 2 years of IR Tech experience required, travel experience highly preferred
• Must have ARRT, BLS certifications and Kentucky license (can be pending upon submittal)
• EPIC experience required
• Float requirement between Florence, Edgewood, and Fort Thomas facilities as needed
• Daily census of 8 procedures working with adults and geriatrics
• Perform procedures including angiograms, venograms, PICC, port a cath, vertebroplasty, GI bleed, embolization, biliary tube exchange, nephrostomy, IVUS, fistulagram, trans jugular biopsy, IVC filter removal, and thrombectomy for neuro cases
• Work with specialized equipment including EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti
• Scrubs must not have any agency or brand logos (strictly enforced)
• Natural fingernails required (less than 1/4" length), no nose rings or gauged earrings
• 96 hours of orientation required
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
• Must expect to work some holidays

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
