Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule
• Must have 2 years of direct CVOR experience and scrub experience required
• Cardiac call required as part of position
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Will perform other cases if no CVOR cases available
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Experience with CVOR procedures including atrial septal defect repair, CABG, MAZE procedure, mitral valve replacement, TAVR
• Skills required: cell saver, blood product administration, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, universal protocol, wound management
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Time sensitive modules must be prioritized once assignment is confirmed
• All RTO must be included at time of submission
• Compliance documents due Monday prior to start date
• 2 references from direct supervisor/manager required
• 18 months experience required, 2 years preferred
