Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotation from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Open to 8-week contracts
• Patient ratio of 5-6 patients during days, nights, and weekends
• Float required to other units as needed
• Every other weekend coverage required
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Skills include cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, central line care, IV management, wound care, and tracheostomy care
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 28 patients on 30-bed unit
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Two supervisor references required
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract, no RTO first two weeks
