Opportunity:

Pharmacist - Pharmacist Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work weekdays with variable weekends required
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Pharmacy residency training required
• Acute/inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Adult medicine, ED and/or NICU practice preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Required certifications: BCPS, Board Certified, Chemo/Hazardous Drug, IV Certification, BLS, PharmD
• Skills include ambulatory care, retail pharmacy, chemotherapy, pain controlled analgesia, anticoagulation therapy, clinical dosing, sterile technique, and drug shortage management
• Experience with pharmacy equipment including Baker Machine, Cad Cassette, Abbott, Accudose, Baxter, McKesson, and Pyxis systems
• Work with diverse patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Support 320-bed facility with daily census of 200 patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Complete required modules during orientation (average 2-3 hours)
• License must be in-hand before start date
• Must complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
