Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in ICU unit with floating required to PCU and other units within hospital or affiliate hospitals
• Must be able to handle higher patient ratios (3:1 days/nights, 3.5:1 weekends)
• Available shifts: 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour options
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts, 36 hours for 3 twelve-hour shifts, 48 hours for 4 twelve-hour shifts
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 3 years of experience required, travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must obtain Indiana license, compact, or temporary license prior to start
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Dress code: Red tops, black bottoms
• Charting system: Cerner
• Free parking provided
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must have university accredited by ACEN or CCNE
• 2 supervisor references required
• Extensive clinical skills required including ventilator management, cardiac drips, arterial line management, central line care, emergency medications, and specialized equipment operation
• Care for patients with ARDS, COPD, STEMI, NSTEMI, DKA, acute kidney injury, UTIs, and acute shock
• Adult patient population with daily census of 7 patients in 12-bed unit
