Job Details:

• Work Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday night shifts
• 2-week day shift orientation before transitioning to night shifts
• First-time travelers accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Circulating skills required
• CERNER charting experience required
• BLS certification required
• 5-8 twelve-hour call shifts per 13-week contract
• Weekend coverage is call only
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Floating required 100% - candidates will float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Float very rarely under normal circumstances
• Up to 5 days of non-holiday time off can be auto-approved
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Charge pay available with $3.00 additional per hour
• Extensive surgical skills preferred including bariatric, cardiovascular, thoracic, ENT, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic, plastic, urological, and robotic procedures
• Care for patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Facility:

This community hospital features 16 operating rooms and provides comprehensive surgical services including general surgery, bariatrics, gynecology, urology, ENT, orthopedics, plastics, spine, robotics, thoracic, peripheral vascular, and pediatric surgical procedures. The facility maintains a daily census of approximately 50 patients and offers specialized services with preferred focus on peripheral vascular and pediatric procedures across multiple surgical specialties including general surgery, ENT, urology, orthopedics, sports medicine, and dental procedures.
