Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
• Patient ratio of 6:1 for all shifts
• Float within skillset required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have MS/Tele, Telemetry, and Cardiac Tele experience
• 12-lead EKG experience required
• Ventilator management experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Two supervisor references required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs including cardiac, vascular, general medical, surgical, wound care, GI/GU, neurological, respiratory, and renal failure diagnoses
• Manage patients requiring ventilator support, continuous BiPaP, continuous cardiac monitoring, and pre/post cardiac interventions
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• One pre-approved time off request allowed per contract
