Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with rotating days off
• Handle daily caseload of approximately 25 patients
• Provide pre/intra/post procedure care for inpatient, ED and outpatient populations
• Work in interventional radiology department with hours Monday-Friday 6:30 AM-6:00 PM and Saturday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities required during the week and occasional weekends
• Holiday rotation required
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Must complete up to 8 hours of modules within 1 week of signing
• 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Virginia state license required (temp license acceptable)
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS
• PACS, biopsies, and contrast skills required
• IR/Angio special procedures experience required including stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, drainages, and vascular studies
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Epic charting system preferred
• Work with adults and geriatric patient populations
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
