Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Travel experience required
• Patient ratios of 2-3 patients
• Weekend coverage required
• Must be willing to float to MS/Tele, ER (for critical care holds)
• Care for patients aged adolescents through geriatrics
• Daily census of 15 patients in 20-bed unit
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH, 6 hours total stroke education, EKG course completion
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must demonstrate competency in arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
• Experience required with post-surgical care, emergency medications, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Skills include care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, and traumatic brain injury care
• One pre-approved time off allowed per contract
• Local radius restriction: 50 miles
• Hard documentation deadline: Tuesday 4:30pm CST prior to start date

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
