Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Choose between 3x12 or 4x12 schedule options
• Float required to Med Surg, IMC, and ED Boarder units as needed
• Expected to float to ED to care for boarders and/or inpatient units
• Patient ratios: Med Surg 1:5-6, IMC 1:3-4
• Every 3rd weekend required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, NIHSS
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Med Surg/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required
• ER holding experience required
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Pre-approved time off limited to 7 days per 13-week contract with no RTO in first two weeks

The facility features modern medical-surgical and telemetry units, intermediate care capabilities, and emergency department services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The facility serves adult and geriatric populations with a daily census of approximately 25 patients and offers 24-hour orientation and ongoing professional development opportunities.
