Opportunity:
RN - Stepdown
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3 shifts or 48 hours for 4 shifts per week
• Patient ratios of 1:4-6
• Weekend requirement: 3 weekends per 4-week schedule
• Float to all adult acute care units as needed
• No on-call requirements
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must have telemetry experience and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Required certifications: Michigan RN license (must be active by start date), BCLS by AHA
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, CPI, NIH, ventilator management, conscious sedation
• EPIC charting experience required
• Hunter green scrubs required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with various conditions including cardiac, oncology, orthopedic, trauma, stroke, and post-surgical patients
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Free parking with badge access to parking garage
• 5-day maximum RTO policy - all time off must be submitted at time of profile submission

The facility utilizes EPIC charting systems and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The stepdown units specialize in caring for patients with complex medical conditions including cardiac progressive care, medical oncology, orthopedics, surgical specialties, neurosciences, and inpatient rehabilitation services.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
