Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 or 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratios based on acuity
• May need to float within scope to meet facility needs
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred certification: TNCC
• Charge nurse experience required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• Free parking available
• Care for all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 80 visits per day in 27-room emergency department
• Work with diverse patient population with variety of patient care needs
• Holiday rotation as needed
• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Average 4 hours of non-billable modules completed pre-start

This short-term acute care hospital features 97 staffed beds and provides comprehensive emergency services to the community. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The emergency department is equipped with 27 rooms to handle a diverse patient population with various medical needs and maintains modern technology and resources to support quality patient care.
