Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Neuro
Job Details:
• Work on Medical Surgical Neurology unit with 48 beds and daily census of 46 patients
• Patient ratios of 1:7 utilizing team nursing model for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with general medical surgical diagnoses
• Self-scheduling system
• 2+ years of medical surgical experience required with travel experience
• Large hospital and Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Skills required: Telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs
• Tennessee or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall during assignment
• RTO must be submitted at time of application - no requests honored after offer made
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
