Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Provide nursing care for adult to geriatric patients in renal medical surgical unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 on days, nights, and weekends
• 49 rooms with average daily census of 48 patients
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period (1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment, 2 out of 3 if three holidays occur)
• Required to wear navy blue scrubs
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Spring break blackout dates (April 4th-12th)
• Must have Epic charting system experience (required)
• Work with Pyxis medication system and SBAR communication
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Must manage colostomy/ileostomy care, feeding tubes, hemodialysis, central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, wound care, and various medical equipment
• Full compliance required to start on time

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
