Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:1-2 in the CICU
• Every other weekend requirement (12 shifts during contract)
• Can be placed on call for low census, no additional call shifts required
• Float to MICU or other departments as needed when census is low
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Equipment experience preferred: CRRT - Prismax
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with primarily cardiac diagnoses
• Unit also takes MICU/SICU overflow patients
• Work with specialized equipment including Flotrac, Impella CP/RP/5.5, IABP, CRRT-Prismax
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must be available during hurricane season (June-November) for emergency response teams
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start

The facility is equipped with advanced monitoring systems and cutting-edge cardiac support equipment, planning to expand from 4 beds to 16 beds as volume increases. The hospital offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams, ensuring optimal patient care in a collaborative environment.
