Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3 shifts per week schedule
• Weekdays with some weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float to ER, ICU, and LDRP units as needed
• Must have TruBridge (formerly CPSI) EMR experience as required by director
• 1-2 years of nursing experience required
• Kansas state license or compact license required at submission
• BCLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Skills required: IV starts, telemetry, charge experience preferred
• Experience with orthopedic procedures (total hips and knees) is a plus
• Rural health experience preferred
• Care for medical surgical, orthopedic, and general surgery patients
• Provide post-operative joint care and general medical patient care
• Work with patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 12 patients with 20 rooms and 23 beds
• Required flu vaccination with no exemptions
• First time travelers and local candidates accepted
• Must complete pre-start modules averaging 1 hour tracked in WorkRamp

The facility operates a 23-bed unit with 20 rooms and maintains interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
