Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12 schedule)
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• General ED combined adult/pediatric setting experience required
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI, MAB
• Charge experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Skills required: Triage, IV starts, phlebotomy, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, emergency medications
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• 27-room emergency department with approximately 115 visits per day
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Compact license or Maryland license required
• Two supervisor references required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must complete pre-start modules (average 12 hours)
