Opportunity:

RN - CCU

Job Details:

• Work in ICU/IMCU units caring for patients with pneumonia, sepsis, renal conditions, pancreatitis, general surgeries pre/post, orthopedic cases, COPD, GI conditions, and sickle cell crisis
• Maintain 3:1 patient ratio for all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
• Work every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Must float within facility/scope of practice
• Must be willing to float between ICU and IMCU units
• Minimum 1 year of experience required - unit accepts first-time travelers
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must have skills in management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care/management, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, suctioning, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred
• Holiday work required based on number of holidays during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Must complete full compliance requirements to start on time
• Georgia or compact license required at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred
