Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Float between pre-op and PACU required
• No call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts
• Care for patients aged adolescents through adults, with some pediatrics (no younger than 6)
• Daily census of approximately 30 patients with 21 beds available
• Recovery care primarily for orthopedic cases and some general surgery patients
• Care for vascular patients including bypasses and fistula creations
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• PACU and pre-op experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Must have compact license or MD license
• First time travelers accepted
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Complete pre-start modules averaging 12 hours
