Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 4:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Float to ICU and Med Surg as needed
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• ICU experience required as travelers will cover both IMC and ICU units
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• MS/Tele and Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Charting system experience required (Cerner)
• Experience with PCU/Stepdown, post cardiac procedures, IV insulin protocols, chest tubes, wound care, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, ventilated patients, CPAP/BIPAP, and high flow nasal cannula
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and GI/GU diagnoses
• Work with specialized equipment including ventilators, non-titratable IV drips, dialysis equipment
• Two supervisor references required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
