Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts available with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule
• 18 months ICU experience required; 2 years preferred
• Must have experience with both cardiac and neuro patients as ICU is mixed with both patient types
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic experience required at level 3 or 4
• Will float to all 3 hospitals within 20-mile radius to meet facility needs
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• White scrubs required
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Time-sensitive modules must be prioritized upon confirmation of assignment
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• Skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, multisystem organ dysfunction management, IABP, post cardiac surgery care, pulmonary artery line monitoring, arterial line management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, ABG interpretation, suctioning, and isolation precautions
