Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with 3x12 schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• One to two call days per week (weekday call starts at 5:00 PM)
• One call weekend every 5 weeks (Saturday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM - 48 hours total)
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs between like units and sister facilities
• 2 years of OR experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required, PALS preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• 1:1 patient ratio experience
• Must be competent in various surgical procedures including gastric bypass, laparoscopic procedures, orthopedic surgeries, robotic surgeries using Da Vinci Xi system, and general OR procedures
• Experience with electrosurgical units, fiber optic equipment, laser safety, and specimen handling required
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided for OR
• Epic charting system
• 8 hours of orientation
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Local candidates accepted at 60-mile radius with manager approval
• Block scheduling requires manager approval based on unit needs

The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic electronic health records for seamless documentation and communication.
