Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 84 hours biweekly with 72 hour guarantee
• Must be agreeable to floating between Med Surg, PCU, and ER holding
• Patient ratios: 5 patients during days, 6 patients during nights
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must complete lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Hard documents due 3 business days prior to start date
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Handle MS/PCU overflow patient diagnoses
• Work with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, wound care, IV management, blood product administration, and various specialized procedures
• Weekend shifts vary per contract with one pre-approved time off allowed
• Local radius of 50 miles applies
