Opportunity:

Dosimetrist - Dosimetrist

Job Details:

• Provide care to patients, ages adolescent through geriatric, receiving radiation therapy treatments
• Work with physical and geometric characteristics of radiation equipment and radioactive sources
• Measure and generate radiation dose distributions and calculations under direction of Oncologist and/or Medical Physicist
• Daily census of 30-40 patients
• Handle all disease sites including liver, brain, lung, breast, prostate, bone, and head/neck
• Perform special procedures including SRS, SBRT, and HDR
• Work with 2 linear accelerators and 1 CT simulator
• Required certification: CMD (Certified Medical Dosimetrist)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must have valid state license at time of submission
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• AHA certifications must be current and in hand at time of submittal
• 50 miles travel requirement applies
• Background check policy requires disclosure of any hits or DUIs prior to submission
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (average 1-5 hours)
• Only one holiday approval per contract period
