Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call requirement of 90-120 hours of call in a 6-week schedule
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Travel experience required (first time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma experience)
• Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA
• Must have experience with vascular and thoracic surgery cases
• Must be skilled in receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation
• Experience required with procedures including: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, EVAR, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, TAVR, TEVAR, VAD
• Heart and lung transplant experience preferred
• Valve replacement and aortic dissection experience required
• AM shift focuses on peripheral vascular cases (needs more vascular than cardiovascular experience)
• PM shift focuses on cardiovascular cases (heart and lung experience preferred for this shift)
• Must work with adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
