Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-10 hour shifts, 5 days per week coverage required
• Weekend coverage every other weekend
• Call responsibilities up to 3 times per week with 30-minute response time requirement
• Weekday call is 3x per week on weeks not scheduled for weekends, 2x on weeks with weekend call
• Average daily census of 6 patients
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Must have minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience (no first-time travelers)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), and LSRTBE state license
• Must be proficient in embolization, coiling, ablations, and implants (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
• Experience required with Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
• STEMI care experience with focus on FTB/DTB < 60 minutes
• Must be capable of performing peripheral and EP procedures
• Work independently and confidently in all CCL procedures
• Must be competent to perform procedures from cardiac cath, peripheral, vascular, EP and interventional radiology
• Epic charting system experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must live over 65 miles from facility address

Facility:

This progressive healthcare facility operates a full-service combination lab serving cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures. The facility features advanced equipment including Impella, IABP, Inari, EKOS, Angiojet, Rotoblator, Shockwave, Diamondback, and Medrad/Acist injectors. The lab utilizes Siemens floor mount and Cannon imaging systems with Epic EMR and Cupid documentation. The facility maintains a highly efficient Code STEMI team with system-best door-to-balloon times and serves adult and geriatric patient populations.
