Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
• Every other weekend required (12 weekend shifts during contract)
• Can be placed on call for low census but no additional call shifts required
• May float to MICU or other departments when census is low
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Equipment experience preferred: CRRT - Prismax
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with primarily cardiac diagnoses
• Unit takes MICU/SICU overflow patients
• Special equipment includes Flotrac, Impella CP/RP/5.5, IABP, CRRT-Prismax, GE Patient Monitoring System
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams

This acute care hospital features a newly established 4-bed CICU unit with plans to expand to 16 beds as volume increases. The facility provides comprehensive cardiac care with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. The hospital offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Downtown parking is provided at no cost with distributed parking passes.
